COURIER

Alpine Group is seeking to employ a company courier.

The chosen candidate will be responsible for coordinating and executing the delivery of documents, and other materials among the various companies within our group.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collecting/delivering items from each company's premises or designated pick-up points.

- Planning optimal delivery routes to minimize time and costs.

- Obtaining necessary signatures or proof of delivery from recipients.

- Safely transporting packages using company-provided vehicles.

- Ensuring the security and integrity of items during transit.

- Communicating any delivery issues or delays to relevant personnel.

- Adhering to all traffic and safety regulations while driving.

- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles.

- Providing courteous and professional service to internal customers.

- Provide general administrative and clerical support as required.

 

Requirements:

- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

- 2 years of previous experience as a courier, delivery driver, or in a similar role.

- Familiarity with local roads and routes.

- Excellent time management and organizational skills.

- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling packages and documents.

- Proficiency in both Maltese and English languages, with strong communication skills in both verbal and written forms.

- Previous experience in a customer-facing role requiring bilingual communication is advantageous.

- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.

- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to handle challenging situations with diplomacy and professionalism.
